w00tin’
Well, I finally found a theme that isn’t pretentious on its own merit. Instead it’s pretentious because I made it
. So I’m listening to the Polar Express soundtrack, the film being directed by Robert Zemeckis. You were wondering we he’s been weren’tcha? Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, and then, there was a quiet wind in the trenches. Well, he’s doing CG animation films now it seems, his next is similar to Polar Express, since its holiday oriented: Halloween. What’s next for Mr. Zemeckis? I’m thinking Flag Day.
Time for some old poetry, because I’m too lazy to finish a new poem right now:
Honor Among Thieves
The purest honor
Is not that among the chivalrous
Of the knights who kneel upon a knee
For their sweethearts
It is not that of the brave
Of the warriors of valor and peace
The purest honor
Is that among thieves
Honor among thieves
Is the most difficult to uphold
To trust the backstabbers
The criminals and crooks
All people who make a living
Being
Untrustworthy
The honor is pure
For no thief cheats another
To steal from your creed
Is the only commandment
Worth following
In a world where possessions
Are most precious
And God lies in shackles
Shivering
The bad guys are good
In this twisted sense
They follow a code
No other man can walk
A thief without honor
Among Thieves
Earns empty riches
Only worthy of the poor
